Workshop description
Master the Craft of Wildlife Photography, from field to finished image. In this private 1:1 workshop, you’ll experience the full journey of wildlife photography. We begin in the field, where you’ll learn how to make the most of your camera in real-world conditions, from understanding light and exposure to approaching subjects respectfully and framing compositions that tell a story. Together, we’ll cover the essential settings, creative techniques, and fieldcraft that build confidence and help you turn fleeting encounters into powerful images.
Make Shooting Intuitive & Enjoyable. Learn to control your camera with ease, adapt quickly to changing conditions, and focus on creating images rather than struggling with buttons and menus.
From RAW to refined
After our time outdoors, we’ll move into the digital side of the workflow. Using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge, and plug-ins such as Silver Efex Pro, I’ll show you how to bring out the very best in your images. We’ll cover essential adjustments, advanced techniques, and time-saving shortcuts that sharpen your post-processing skills, speed up your workflow, and help you transform good captures into striking, finished photographs.
Seasonal highlights
Depending on the time of year, we’ll focus on subjects that make each season special. Some examples:
Spring & Summer: bird migration (Common Crane, various geese), butterflies (Clouded Apollo), dragonflies (Banded- and Beautiful Demoiselle), Red-throated Diver
Autumn & Winter: bird migration (Common Crane, various geese), Roe Deer, White-tailed Deer, Moose and a wide variety of birds and mammals at the winter feeder (Great Spotted Woodpecker, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Common Magpie, Eurasian Jay, Common Blackbird, Red Squirrel and Roe Deer).
Is this workshop for you?
Whether you’re new to photography or already experienced, this workshop adapts to your level. Beginners will learn both the camera basics (exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO) and the editing essentials that turn raw captures into polished results.
More advanced photographers will gain an inside look at how I work, both in the field and at the computer, to shape my distinctive style: imaginative, minimalistic, and inspired by Scandinavian design. You’ll see how I strip subjects down to their purest form, using light, space, and simplicity to create mood and impact, while also learning advanced editing techniques and workflow shortcuts.
What you'll walk away with
By the end of this workshop, you won’t just know the settings or the software, you’ll have a complete field-to-finish workflow you can trust. You’ll feel confident moving from planning a shoot in nature to turning your RAW files into finished images:
Work efficiently
Spend more time enjoying the field and less time stuck at the computer, with practical fieldcraft and streamlined editing methods.
Shoot with purpose
Understand how light, timing, and subject behavior guide your decisions, and how to capture images with intent.
Edit with confidence
Apply tools and techniques in Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge, and plug-ins like Silver Efex Pro to refine your captures without overcomplicating.

Shape your own style
Learn how I create my imaginative, minimalistic, Nordic-inspired look, and how you can adapt those principles into a style that’s uniquely yours.
Produce consistent results
Develop a repeatable process from camera to computer, so your portfolio feels cohesive and professional.
Stand out
Combine strong fieldcraft with creative refinements in editing to make your images distinctive and memorable.
This isn’t just about learning settings or software, it’s about leaving with a system, a flow, and the confidence to transform your nature and wildlife encounters into striking works of art. And yes, it’s fun.
