Birds are what first drew me into nature and wildlife photography. Years ago, while walking along a coastline with my camera, I spotted a pair of Common Mergansers I wanted to capture. Soon after, a Black Woodpecker gave me that same irresistible urge. I was hooked, there was no escaping anymore. Since then, my photography has evolved into a style that is minimalistic, two-dimensional, and imaginative, seeking simplicity and atmosphere over complexity.
